Menduo House presents "A Soft Look". An award-winning documentary short made by Canadian filmmaker Perry Mark Stratychuk on the subject of life as an artist, featuring Winnipeg painter Andrew Valko and his model/partner Julia Lam.

The project was filmed on 16mm movie film (4:3 format) in 1983 and later broadcast on television by the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) in Canada, and is now available for streaming exclusively on Gumroad.

The movie's original ambient electronic music soundtrack was also created by Stratychuk and released that year as an EP on vinyl. (Now available for download and streaming on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and elsewhere with the title: Body Waves.)
